The SaberCats, one of seven teams in the newly-formed Major League Rugby (MLR) league, made its home in Houston in 2018. The team began its inaugural home season January 2018 and play at the SaberCats Stadium.

The Houston Roughnecks is one of the eight original teams of the XFL, a fan-first football league that began in 2020. The Roughnecks play in a 10-week regular season complete with 11-on-11, 100 yard games that boast common sense rule changes and minimized downtime.

The Skeeters play at Constellation Field, a family-friendly open-air field complete with the Children's Memorial Hermann Play Land.
